Subscribe to RSS feedOccasionally the “TV cable” company calls to ask if we are interested in their Internet offers. I tell them “no, I’m sorry because I’m migrating to 50mbps u/d” and that’s the end of the conversation (I’m lined up for fiber).
Usually that’s the end of the story, but there was something on my mind for some time and I enquired about the extra digital channels. Of course the person on the other side become excited he could sell something! He told me they had a special offer in which I get the digital box for € 50 Submit (incl. sending costs) and 104 channels for 25 euro a month. Pretty cool.
This was one of the things I never did the past years. Whenever we visit friends or family I awe on their huge amount of digital channels, Nick. Jr, Travel Channel, BBC 3, 4, Discovery Science, Discovery World, Garuda Tv, etc… Everyone has it, except us. I always wanted to keep it that way so that there WAS a good reason to visit family and friends, hahahaha. But hey… now that Maarten gets TV minded let’s give him some extra channels.
These are the 140 channels I get (as if the hundreds of channels on http://video.populair.eu 9/89K are not enough…), too bad the SciFi Channel is not between it:
