Op GlobalSecurity.org kun je via satelietbeelden de troepenverplaatsingen volgen van de Amerikanen rondom Irak. Maar ook vele andere (historische) satelietbeelden zoals de Taechon Reactor in Noord Korea.

ik dacht dat die oorlog al lang voorbij was ??

deze laptop is morgenvroeg (waarschijnlijk van 0830 to 0831…) te koop voor 1599 euro. Ik zit nu heel erg te twijfelen of ik hem moet gaan halen. In principe is hij alleen in duitsland te koop, de nederlandse aanbieding volgt meestal twee weken later, maar ik kan natuurlijk direct even over de grens wippen.

• voorin zit een compact flash reader voor SD, MMC, Memory stick en smart media kaartjes,

  doe ik niet maar het is een goede grafische kaart, natuurlijk met tv out om dvd’s op tv te bekijken

mmmm… wat zal ik doen…. wachten op de nederlandse aanbieding met de kans dat hij weer aan mijn neus
voorbijgaat of morgenvroeg even naar Aken rijden …. argh…verleiding verleiding …. eventjes over nadenken …

AutoWeek published once again the top 100 of best selling cars in the Netherlands. In total 510.744 cars were sold this year.

The top five brands are Opel, Renault, Peugeot, Ford and Volkswagen ( in that order) which have sold around 50.000 cars each. All the other brands play a less important role on the dutch market. Citroen (6), Toyota (7) and Suzuki (8) sold between 20.000 and 25.000 cars. The report mentions 46 brands ( On 46 : Bentley/Rolls-Royce with 7 cars sold …) but also 341 ‘other’ brands…i wonder what those brands are.

Of the 100 best selling cartypes there is only one type that sold more than 20.000 and that’s the Peugeot 206. In the netherlands most cars sold are European and that is clear to see in top 30 : only 3 japanese cars ( the Suzuki Alto (15), Toyota Yaris (17) and Toyota Corola (29). Although their numbers are rising. German cars lay under pressure, but French cars like Renault and Peugeot are more and more succesful.

Lancia is doing very bad : in 2000 they sold 2800 cars in the netherlands, in 2001 only 1250 and last year only 554 cars. Alfa, from the same concern also sold 1000 cars less than the year before, only Fiat sold a little more this year.

Brands that are rising : Jaguar, Mini, Smart, Daihatsu, Honda, Audi, Nissan, Fiat, Suzuki, Toyota, Citroen, Ford and Peugeot.
