It will change your viewpoint on many things.

Dat deden we niet, maar we mochten (ik had vandaag cursus) wel al om 16.00 naar huis.

Windsnelheden tot 130km/u, 2 doden, een aantal snelheden afgezet waaronder de A2, in Amersfoort wat bomen omgewaaid, diverse gebouwen (oh jee, ook de IKEA) uit voorzorg gesloten, een bus van de dijk gewaaid, 1600 kuub olie uit een schip gestroomd in de haven van Rotterdam, de gemalen zijn op topsnelheid aan het pompen en rijkswaterstaat heeft voor de eerste keer een verkeersalarm afgegeven. De storm stremt ook het tramverkeer, de geluidswal in Utrecht is aan het waaien, omgevallen vrachtwagens, gestrande reizigers stromen de Jaarbeurs binnen…., treinverkeer gestopt, NOS journaal blijft nu live uitzenden omdat de situatie zo gevaarlijk is, treinreizigers doen een run op hotels en tandenborstels, een 3e dode gevallen door de storm,…

Oh men… ik ben echt zo blij dat ik vandaag niet in Utrecht zit, ik kan me nog  levendig de dag herinneren dat heel Nederland vast stond vanwege de enorme sneeuwval, volgens mij was ik die dag rond 01.00 thuis.

 

 

 

 

 

 

update: Ray zit vast in Utrecht, hahahaha! Alle hotels zitten vol, de treinen rijden niet meer dus ik ben bang dat het een veldbedje in de Jaarbeurs gaat worden :)
