Youtube downloader to Xvid to TV
I was wondering if I would install youtube-dl then the excellent script here which uses MEncoder, install it on my Synology CS407, couple it to the default video directory as specified in my kissdx setup and then put a web-front-end (via cgi) to it, if it would be as simple as making a bookmarklet which would then add it my youtube dir to directly show them on my TV?
Obviously I could then add some other YouTube alike services to the bookmarklet and code.

After adding the nslu2 feed to my ipkg.conf for my Synology box:

ipkg -list gives me a ..wow.. 1075 packages available listing, I don’t know where to start!
