After our Nikon Coolpix 8800 did not work correctly anymore (probably sand in the camera) we had to choice to send it to Nikon and let it be repaired for 80 euro at least (or it could possibly not be be repaired and then we would get a message back) OR buy a new camera.
Since I own:
- the Nikon Coolpix 775 (still works, biting dust in my drawer) (2002)
- the Nikon Coolpix 8800 (see above, sand) (2004)
- the Nikon Coolpix S9100 (2011)
It would be logical to look for a new bridge camera in the same order, such as the Nikon Coolpix P510 (42x optical zoom!)but I have read many good stories on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 also.
DpReview shows how cool 42 optical zoom is, on the left picture you see a small house on the background, on the right picture, taken from the same position, the house … (!)
But… I have read SO many great stuff on the Panasonic FZ200 that I will probably go for the FZ200 ending my Nikon strike.
(But… maybe I should wait on the photokina 2012 first…) (which is in 21 days…)
Bij motie heeft de PVV zojuist in de Tweede Kamer voorgesteld om het rookverbod in de horeca terug te draaien. Volgens Tweede Kamerlid Fleur Agema zijn er teveel kleine kroegen de dupe van de wetgeving.
My mother gave my son my Fisher Price Movie Viewer that I had as a kid. He likes it very much. He doesn’t understand the concept completely but he is fascinated by the machine. In turn we have to look into it.
