In all European countries the rights of minorities are falling and (extreme) right nationalism is on the rise and well… just look at the video.

Violence, scary violence and more scary physical violence by utterly brainwashed crowds. Homophobia, xenophobia and hatred is on the rise always everywhere on the continent along with "the right to hate" and the "right to perform violence in groups".

In this case we have a little group of gay people and supportive hetero’s and Belgrado got half destroyed, government buildings attacked, etcetera. On this weblog: http://weblogs.nos.nl/belgrado/2010/10/10/belgrado-gay-pride/ I read in the comments:

Several sects like 1389, obraz, dveri with the help of football hooligans and mad priests have destroyed my city in the name of god and patriotism. In their village (vukojebina) they would never do this but here they come to demolish MY city. this sort of scum was already busy in wars of the 90′s and we all know what happened.

Uhm… is there anybody who can explain logically to me why you should organize a beat-em-up manifestation of 6000 nationalists to beat the hell out of a group of gay people who just want to express their rights?

- tourism is not really picking up in Servie … uhm… "hi can we order a beer ? Yes … we are gay?? " KABENG… NOT SMART.

And … my personal hypothesis is that it has a strong link with religion:

When I read through the pages of the violence that occurs, the insane violence I really get sad. I just get sad because I would really love to have a world where you can travel to any place and have a beer with anyone and have a nice evening, laugh and learn from each other. Just uhm… have a nice world actually… Uhm…

It’s just so mad that there are these large groups of people who do not share that worldview and are so full of pure hatred and make the evil in this world physical by working in organized groups to commit violence in the end. They have sort of within-group thinking. They are not working to make this "world a better place" (tm MJ) but working to establish physical evil presence in this world. Sadly it is tied deeply with the three main Abrahamic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Religions like Hinduism teaches about the universal diversities which sound more like a normal sane look on life (source wikipedia).

Maybe I should have renamed this post "does evil exist?" and answer "yes, look around and look it straight in the eyes everywhere and become utterly frightened". I think evil is from all times. In some ages and in some areas it is in power and it has been physicalized in many stories in many cultures but the traits are clear. It DOES exist and it exists through humans. It spreads immense fear, unimaginable violence and mindless hatred but you have to open your eyes to recognize the beast and fighting this beast is from all times. I think the numbers that the beast carries is clear from the many YouTube comments on sort-like videos.

I think "world peace" is far away. I think the first hurdle to take is to recognize and identify the beast but that will take courage and many heroes. I think it starts with rules and obedience to these rules. I recently heard a radio show where it was proven that e.g. garbage on the streets leads to crime simply because unconsciously people are a sort of sheep. They see other people breaking ethical rules and take it a step further and further. It begins with these very simple things. If there is no social control on the little things which can be as simple as saying to another person that he should not speak "dirty shit about x" or that he should not throw a piece of paper on the street things slowly shift. (yes even on the Internet) boundaries shift and shift and shift and evil sees its chances and physicalizes in the masses of sheep-like entities that collectively form the beast.

This is also what the Serbian minister Dragan Sutanovac of defense says "the riots have nothing todo with the Gay Pride but they represent Hate".

I don’t know how to achieve this. I also don’t know how to protect a certain more or less "progressive" worldview (one-liner: stop the beast) to achieve a nicer place. I know however that the power and mass of the beast is growing and with it heroes become more and more recognizable.
